Luc was given a rabbit this Christmas by Louise Fortier (Louise who is on the family farm with Daniel, Gilbert's brother). It is Luc's favorite toy - when I come into his room I often find him cuddling it (and trying to put it in his mouth)!

Three Months Old!
On Saturday the 19th Luc will be three months old! Three months is not a long time in the real world, but in the land of babies it is a big deal! Here are some of the latest of Luc's accomplishments:
- Doubling his birth weight - "Mr.Small" now weighs a hefty 16lbs (according to my calculations!)
-"Talking" with Mum & Dad for several minutes at at time (admittedly, Luc doesn't realize you have to open your mouth to speak and tends to use a series of grunts, but he'll get there eventually)
- Laughing (At least twice this week!!!)
- Rolling from side to side (not long now before he rolls over completely)
- Discovering his hands belong to him (and rubbing them together constantly in the manner of an evil villain).

- Starting to realize that his feet belong to him.
- Realizing that he can put things in his mouth - like his hands, his toys, his hands ... oh yes, and his hands - you get the picture!
Speaking of pictures here are some silly ones to keep you going.

Altered State
Well the last pic of Luc got quite a lot of response. This was my favourite (from Uncle Simon, of course ;)
"Last night I was hangin' wit ya boy Luc.
We's drinkin' ah's 40s and droppin' mad stories about the hunnies we'd been wit. Ya boy turns to me and he says "I'm a real gangsta, son, you's just frontin' homie."

Visiting Grandma in Oakville
Hello and Happy New Year to everyone! (I had no idea that more than just mum and a handful of my close-but-far-away friends were reading this - thanks so much for keeping interested!)

Last week we braved a snowstorm (and an 8 hour drive) with Luc to travel to Oakville to visit Grandma/Mum. Despite the terrible drive in, Luc survived and we had a wonderful visit - Mum (my mum) took care of both of us, even down to our washable diaper fetish, washing and folding nappies as per strict instructions!

We also saw Nancy & Paul Jack (for those of you who don't know Nancy & Paul, Simon & I grew up with their family like cousins, playing with their three boys and spending many holiday suppers together. They are like our second family in Canada.) They came over for dinner one night.
We also saw Simon & Jen one night for dinner - who braved the Toronto traffic only to find that Luc was collapsing with fatigue, ready for bed (bedtime is now 6 p.m. - his idea, not ours!!!)

Enjoy the pics and the video of Grandma & Luc.
Lots of love to you all,
P,G & L
